Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 29, 2026
FamGo (Swedish company reg. no. 556846-7624) cares about your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you sign up for the FamGo newsletter — and what we do with it.
What data do we collect?
When you sign up for the newsletter, we collect:
- Your email address
- Your language preference (Swedish or English)
- The date you signed up
- Where on the site you signed up (to understand how people find us)
If you'd like, you can also tell us a little more about your family so we can make the tips more relevant. These fields are entirely optional — you'll get the newsletter just the same if you leave them blank:
- Your children's birth years (so we can pick tips that suit their ages)
- The kinds of activities you like most
- Which area of Stockholm works best for you
You fill in the optional fields via a link in the welcome email, and you can change or remove them at any time using the same link.
About data relating to children
Your children's birth years are entered by you, the parent, for your own child. We do not collect data directly from children, and we use the birth year only to work out an approximate age when choosing the weekly tips — never an exact date of birth.
Why do we process your data?
We use your email address to send FamGo's hand-picked family-activity tips in Stockholm. The optional details about your family are used only to make those tips more relevant for you. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)), which you give when you enter your email and click "Sign up."
You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email. When you do, we delete your data — including the optional family details — within 30 days.
Who has access to your data?
We use two external services to deliver the newsletter:
- Supabase (database provider, EU region) — to store your email address
- Resend (email provider) — to deliver the email itself
Both act as data processors under GDPR. We do not share your data with any other third party, and we do not sell it.
How long do we keep your data?
As long as you're a subscriber. When you unsubscribe, we delete your data within 30 days.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Know what data we hold about you
- Have inaccurate data corrected
- Have your data deleted
- Withdraw your consent (click "Unsubscribe" in any email)
- File a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) if you believe we're handling things incorrectly
To exercise your rights, contact us at hello@famgo.se.
Newsletter statistics
To understand what's relevant and make the newsletters better, we measure whether our newsletters are opened and whether their links are clicked. This measurement is handled via our email provider, Resend. We use it to improve the content.
Cookies
On famgo.se we use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. No cookies are set when you sign up for the newsletter itself.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this policy if anything changes. For major changes, we'll email subscribers in advance.
