Pappa Gösta - en familjevandring i Gustav Vasas spår
Follow in the footsteps of Sweden's greatest king of the 1500s and his children. Suitable for children from 5 years old. If you were a king in the 1500s, you would need to be good at making decisions and taking charge. You would also have to dress according to fashion, protect Stockholm and Sweden from enemies, care for your children, write letters, appreciate art, and play the lute. Does that sound exhausting? It probably was at times. Gustav Vasa was not only a king but also a father. He had lost his own father in a terrible bloodbath in the middle of the city. During the tour, we will stop at places in Gamla Stan that tell the story of Gustav's life. You will hear about his children, his wives, and how he changed Stockholm. For example, why did he want to tear down a church, and where did he want to have a garden with good fruits? This walk is specially designed for families. To purchase a ticket, there must be at least one child in the group.
