Kungaparets guldbröllop

The royal couple is celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a series of events in Stockholm. The celebration includes a thanksgiving service at the Royal Chapel, a rowing event with the royal barge Vasaorden from Skeppsbron to Djurgården, a procession through the streets of Stockholm ending in Kungsträdgården, a concert with a love theme in Kungsträdgården, and a golden wedding concert at the Royal Opera. An exhibition about the royal couple's 50 years of marriage, 'Gold! – Together for Sweden for 50 years', opens on May 21 at the Royal Palace.
