Läsårsavslutning med Kulturskolans orkesterskola 2026

Welcome to celebrate the arrival of summer together with the young musicians of the Culture School's Orchestra School, their families and friends. The annual spring concert offers an afternoon filled with music, community, and joy of playing, where every note is a step in the children's musical journey. This year, the concert is especially festive as the Culture School's Orchestra School celebrates 10 years! Over a decade, children and young people have grown as musicians and human beings by playing together across neighborhood boundaries. Through speeches and scholarship awards, we acknowledge our young musicians' work and successes. Come and share an inspiring afternoon where music is at the center and the future takes shape. The Culture School's Orchestra School gives children and young people in Stockholm the opportunity to discover, learn, and express themselves through music, using the orchestra and Western classical music as tools. In the orchestra school, students from schools in Skärholmen, Kista, Husby, Rinkeby, Farsta, Rågsved, and Hässelby make music together. Each week, students practice playing their instruments and rehearse in different orchestras to gather for a festive concluding concert at the end of the school year.
