Kvarnparken
Welcome to the inauguration of Kvarnparken! We have upgraded the park with new playground equipment, trees, plants, and seating areas. All to create an even cozier and greener oasis in central Danderyd. Come and celebrate with us! Throughout the day, there will be opportunities to experience the park's new features through guided tours, play, and activities for both young and old. Visitors can join a guided plant tour led by our city gardener focusing on new tree plantings, the seasonal garden, as well as perennial and bulb plantings. There will also be guided tours about Kvarnparken's cultural environment and history together with the local heritage association. For the younger ones (and playful adults), there will be opportunities to try out the upgraded playground. During the inauguration, there will also be entertainment from a magician, snacks, and opportunities to give feedback on the municipality's outdoor environments – how they function today and how they can be developed in the future.
