Midsommar på Ekbacken 2026

Welcome to the traditional Midsummer celebration at Ekbacken! Friday, June 19 from 12 PM to 3 PM. The serving opens at 12 PM. Games and dancing around the Midsummer pole with Linda Rapp and Pelle Arhio starts at 2 PM. Free bus rides are available from Alcea (opposite Sportcentrum) to Ekbacken at: 12:00, 12:30, 1:00, 1:30 PM. Buses from Ekbacken to Alcea depart at: 2:30, 2:45, 3:00, 3:15 PM. Parking is not allowed at Ekbacken's parking lot or on the sides of Centralvägen. Parking is available at Alcea Hackstavägen 22, Sportcentrum Hackstavägen 43, Sandkilsvägen, or behind Trevehallen. A few parking spaces for disabled individuals are available at Ekbacken. Organizer: Österåkers municipality and Österåkers Local History and Heritage Association.
