Åbergs Museum
Åbergs Museum, located in Bålsta just outside Stockholm, is a destination for the whole family. Founded by Lasse Åberg and opened in 2002 in a stylish old 19th-century barn, it houses a fantastic collection of comic-inspired art and original comic strips, one of the world's foremost antique Disney collections, and an exhibition with props, photos, and costumes from the Stig-Helmer films. The museum is suitable for children of all ages, offering indoor and outdoor play opportunities, an art treasure hunt, a quiz in the art gallery, and the popular Trazan-kojan. Outside, there's the 'Banankontakt' playground, inspired by Trazan and Banarne. It's also a popular venue for children's birthday parties.
