Meet Pippi Longstocking, Emil of Lönneberga, and Karlsson-on-the-Roof. Visit Cherry and Thorn Rose Valley, Mattis Castle, or Bullerbyn. Here in Vimmerby in Småland, you step straight into Astrid Lindgren's World, a place where children are always at the center. It is a grand experience for a child to be in the midst of the action with their favorites so close that they can touch them. This is what happens here in Astrid Lindgren's World. Between performances, you can meet Pippi, Emil, and the others in their home environment. The encounter between children and Astrid Lindgren's characters is the great adventure and what makes the visit truly memorable. If there was something Astrid Lindgren cared about, it was children's right to free play. The park is full of imaginative playgrounds! When there are no performances, the environments from Astrid Lindgren's stories can be used for play. Here we offer magical theater experiences for both big and small people. Every day during the summer season, we perform about 30 shows, all based on Astrid Lindgren's stories, and many of them include singing, music, and dancing in the plot.
