Film Saturday: Fuori – The Art of Joy is a biographical drama about a writer in prison who finds freedom through women's friendship. Seniors will have snacks after the film screening. The story follows the author Goliarda Sapienza, who ends up in prison after being convicted of theft. Her book 'The Art of Joy' has just been rejected by Italian publishers. But her time in prison becomes a turning point. Among the younger female inmates, Goliarda finds unexpected inspiration. After her release, they continue to meet during a sweltering summer in Rome. She forms a strong bond with Roberta – a repeat offender and political activist. Their relationship is hard for the outside world to understand, but it gives Goliarda new energy. She rediscovers the joy of creating.
