Högdalens bibliotek

The Library in Högdalen is located above the subway, and you can reach it either via escalator from the ticket hall or from the square, Högdalsgången 10. At the entrance above the escalator, you are greeted by the lounge and bulletin board. For students, there is a quiet reading room and two bookable individual study rooms. In the open and bright part of the entrance with a view of Globen, there are computers, magazines, and newspapers. We are a cashless library. You can pay with card or Swish. You can easily borrow from our machine located opposite the information desk. Reserved books can be found in the reservation shelves next to the borrowing machines. You return books in our return robot. Ask us for help if you have trouble finding the right one. If you have your own computer, tablet, or mobile phone, you can connect to our WiFi/wireless network. The network is unencrypted and all activity is logged. If you study or work at a college or university with eduroam, you can log into the network from the library. If you have difficulty reading printed books or have trouble getting to the library, we can assist you in various ways. We have aids and literature specifically adapted for dyslexia or other reading difficulties. Our premises are also specially adapted for individuals with various disabilities. We have three toilets. Two are located next to the borrowing machines. It costs 5 SEK to use the toilet, and you pay with card. One toilet is in the children's section and may only be used by children and individuals in need of an accessible toilet. It is free to use and opened by staff. We have a quiet study room with nine places for individual studies or similar. We have two quiet study rooms for 1-2 people. The rooms can be booked during our opening hours. You can book the rooms at the information desk or by phone. You can book a maximum of three hours per day. We also have another group room that can be used for smaller gatherings. The room can be booked from 3 PM. You book the group room with us at the information desk. Artists can exhibit on a glass wall right when you enter the library above the stairs.
