Welcome to our open preschool! Here, adults with children aged 0–6 years can be in a safe and educational environment. No prior registration is needed. Fagersjö is an introduction preschool and open preschool for parents on parental leave, newly arrived, and other adults with children aged 0–6 years. Here you can meet others in a pedagogical and safe environment where we play, craft, read, and socialize. There is also an opportunity to practice Swedish. We are part of Farsta municipality's open preschools. With us, you and your child can experience, explore, and interact with materials and activities adapted to your child's age and interests. It costs nothing to visit us, and you do not need to register in advance. With us, you and your child can play with educational toys and participate in activities that stimulate your child's development. Every day we have a voluntary gathering with singing and language-stimulating activities. A large part of the content of the activities is created together with you who visit us. We also see that our open preschool is a good way for parents to meet, exchange experiences, and receive advice and support in their parenting. On Tuesdays and Thursdays, we offer Swedish for parents on parental leave (sfi). We work in a way similar to family centers. We collaborate with: child health centers, midwifery clinics, libraries, Famnen family advisors, study and career counselors. Together we offer support and activities around parenting and child development. There is always someone to talk to if you want to know more about Sweden or exchange thoughts and experiences. The open preschool is located in the same building as Mötesplats Fagersjö. We share premises with the park play Måsen, Fagersjö youth center, and Farsta's municipal mothers. We have a singing session every day where we sing and play together with rhymes and chants. Here, parents on parental leave can continue or start learning Swedish. Contact us for help with registration. At the open preschool, you can heat your own food and buy snacks at cost price. Fagersjö open preschool offers parent education during the day, when children are also welcome to participate. Talk to the staff for information about upcoming opportunities.
