Opalen is an open preschool and introductory preschool for children aged 0–5 years who are not attending preschool. Here, parents can receive some introduction to the Swedish language. No prior registration is required, and it is free of charge. The facility has play materials for various ages as well as a more secluded room for those who are breastfeeding. Opalen has access to the preschool's large yard where there are opportunities for sand and water play. There is also the possibility to heat food.
