Teater Barbara

Teater Barbara is a free professional theater group founded in 2003 by Ulf Evrén and Carina Jingrot. Our vision is to contribute to making the world a better and slightly nicer place to be a part of. We create performances for all ages around themes that come from the world of fairy tales, myths, and legends, from classic literature or current events in our society. Our activities primarily target children and school youth through nationwide tours as well as on our own stage at Pipersgatan 4, in Kungsholmen, Stockholm. We also perform open shows in the evenings, weekends, and holidays. Our artistic expression is a fusion of classical theater, mime, music, and movement. Theater should be entertaining, challenging, and thought-provoking!
