Teater Barbara

Teater Barbara is a free professional theater group founded in 2003 by Ulf Evrén and Carina Jingrot. Our vision is to contribute to making the world a better and slightly nicer place to be a part of. We create performances for all ages around themes that can come from the worlds of fairy tales, myths, and legends, from classic literature, or current events in our society. We also have what we call our 'scientific leg' – where we create performances that explore, entertain, and encourage knowledge acquisition. Our activities primarily target children and school youth through nationwide tours as well as on our own stage at Pipersgatan 4, in Kungsholmen, Stockholm. We also present open performances in the evenings, on weekends, and during school breaks.
