TioTretton, Kulturhuset
TioTretton is an oasis full of books for those aged 10 to 13. You can enter from January 1 of the year you turn 10 and hang out until the end of 7th grade. Besides curling up in one of our cozy reading spots, you can also craft, draw, or just take a break. There aren't many places in the city that are just for those aged 10 to 13, but TioTretton is one of them. Therefore, adults are not allowed inside. However, they can peek in from the adult boundary and chat with the staff. There are plenty of fun activities for adults nearby, including Serieteket, Kulturbiblioteket, cafes, and exhibitions. Schools from Stockholm city can book free school visits for grades 4-6 from Tuesday to Friday during the autumn term, and for grades 3-6 during the spring term. We accommodate two groups per day between 09:30-11:30, and each visit lasts about 50 minutes. Visits occur without accompanying adults. If you plan to stay long at TioTretton, it might be good to bring something to eat. We have a kitchen where you can sit. If you need to borrow a phone to call an adult, you can always use our landline. You can of course also bring your mobile phone into the library. If you want to be escorted to the subway, just let a staff member know. You can easily borrow books using our loan machine. Reserved books can be found on the reservation shelf; just ask the staff and they will show you. You can return our books at all Stockholm city libraries. You need a library card to borrow and reserve books. In the apps Bibblix and Biblio, you can borrow e-books and audiobooks with your card. The library card also gives you access to digital services here on the website. The card is free. Service dogs are welcome in all our libraries (for example, guide dogs or assistance dogs). We have toilets, including one accessible toilet. We have study spaces. We do not have a group room. WiFi is available. Even though there is an adult boundary at TioTretton, of course, escorts and assistants are allowed inside. We have aids and literature that are specially adapted for dyslexia or other reading disabilities. Our premises are also specially adapted for people with various disabilities. If you have difficulty reading printed text due to a disability, you get free access to Legimus.
