Vällingby bibliotek
Vällingby library is located above Kulturhuset Stadsteatern in Vällingby centrum. The library was inaugurated in 1956 and was designed by Sven Backström and Leif Reinius. The fact that the building was specifically designed for library activities makes it quite unique among Stockholm's libraries. On the ground floor, there is a children's section for ages 0-12 years. In the library hall, you will find, among other things, fiction for young people and adults, multilingual materials, and a 'New in Sweden' shelf for newcomers. There are also printers, copiers, and scanners available. On the gallery one floor up, there is non-fiction for adults, as well as computers to borrow. We are a cashless library. You can pay with card or Swish.
