We offer a safe and welcoming meeting place for guardians or other adults together with children aged 0–5 years who are not yet enrolled in preschool. Here, you can also practice Swedish and read SFF, Swedish for parental leave. Our facilities are bright, spacious, and located on the ground floor with direct access to a private enclosed yard. The indoor environment is pedagogically designed with materials aimed at younger children, stimulating play, exploration, and social interaction, tailored to the children's needs and developmental levels. There is space for about ten strollers to park in the premises. Our facilities include a simple kitchen equipped with a microwave and kettle, where you can heat your own food. We also offer coffee and tea at cost price. For meals, there are tables, high chairs, bibs, cutlery, and dishes available. The open preschool Älvsjö is part of Hägersten-Älvsjö's municipal open preschools. We are located in Liljeholmen, Hägerstensåsen, Fruängen, and Älvsjö. If you have children with disabilities, you are especially welcome to the open preschool Pippi in Fruängen, and here at the open preschool in Älvsjö, we have an introductory preschool for those who are new to Sweden. We at the open preschool offer broad support to families, focusing on parenting, children's development, and well-being. We collaborate with child health care, midwifery clinics, and social services' parent reception to create conditions for early interventions, community, and security for both children and adults.
