Parkleken Backen is a staffed and pedagogically led playground that offers play, movement, and community year-round. Here, outdoor activities are primarily conducted, including a splash pond, play areas for small and large children, sports areas, a grill area, and plenty of benches. We offer varied activities for children in primary and middle school, and twice a week, special leader-led movement activities are held. During our opening hours, we provide materials adapted to the weather and season. There are park bikes, sports equipment, and various games available for loan. We also offer creative activities in various forms, where children can craft, paint, and create. There is also an opportunity to try simple carpentry. On the bulletin board in the playground, there is a detailed weekly program of our activities. Adjacent to the playground, there is a room primarily used as a leisure club for Östbergaskolan's middle school students. During the summer and Christmas breaks, when the leisure club is not in operation, as well as on occasional occasions throughout the year, we also open the room and hold activities for playground visitors of all ages. During the winter months, when the splash pond and its toilets are closed, visitors can always borrow a toilet in the room. The room is accessible with a ramp, door opener, toilet, and changing table. We sell snacks at the playground, and sometimes we also light the grill.
