The Open Preschool Kulan is a free meeting place for children aged 0–6 years accompanied by an adult, primarily aimed at children who are not enrolled in preschool. Here, parental leave individuals, relatives, or other adults at home with children come together. You and your child will find a safe environment that encourages play, exploration, imagination, and joy. The Open Preschool is a place that promotes your child's development and lays the foundation for a joyful and lifelong learning experience. At the Open Preschool, you can meet other adults and families with children, and you can receive advice and support as a parent, as well as community information from the staff. Our facilities are located in the park play area Kulan, Frösätrabacken 50. We have a large room for play, creativity, singing, and music. In the park play area adjacent to our operations, we offer space for play and movement. Our facilities include a large dining table and a small kitchen equipped with a microwave, where you can heat your brought food. You can borrow bibs, cutlery, and dishes if needed. The Open Preschool in Sätra is part of Skärholmen's municipal open preschools. Skärholmen's open preschools are located in Bredäng, Sätra, and Skärholmen/Vårberg. The open preschools in Skärholmen are based on a family-centered approach and collaborate with BVC, BMM, and parent advisors.
