PUNKT

PUNKT is a youth library for those aged 13-19. PUNKT is located one floor above the Tranströmer Library in Medborgarhuset, on the 5th floor if you use the elevator. You can also return books and read newspapers in our foyer on the ground floor, entrance from Götgatan. We are a cashless library. You can pay with card or Swish. You can easily borrow books at our machine located right at the entrance to PUNKT. Reserved books can be found in our reservation shelves at the information desk. You need a library card to borrow and reserve books. In the apps Bibblix and Biblio, you can borrow e-books and audiobooks with your card. The library card also gives you access to digital services here on the website. The card is free. If you have your own computer, tablet, or mobile phone, you can connect to our WiFi/wireless network. The network is unencrypted and all activity is logged. We have a toilet right by the entrance. The toilet is free to use. We have many places where you can study. There is plenty of space to read around PUNKT and in our spacious studio. We do not have a bookable study room. PUNKT does not have computers for surfing, but there are several computers in the library one floor below us. There it is drop-in. At PUNKT, you can print from your own computer, tablet, or mobile phone. Your print will be with the staff at the information desk. Talk to the staff and they will help you! If you have difficulty reading printed books or have trouble coming to the library, we can assist you in various ways. We have aids and literature specifically adapted for dyslexia or other reading difficulties. Our facilities are also specially adapted for those with various disabilities. Service dogs are welcome in all our libraries (for example, guide dogs or assistance dogs). Hearing loops are available. The book delivery service is a free service for those who are long-term sick or have mobility impairments and cannot come to the library themselves. If you have difficulty reading printed text due to a disability, you will receive free access to Legimus. At the library, you will receive help registering an account in Legimus. If you are studying, you should primarily turn to your school to gain access to Legimus. All our libraries subscribe to newspapers and magazines that you can read on-site in the library. You can also read digital newspapers, magazines, and articles in Pressreader, Artikelsök, and Retriever Media Archive. Study driving theory for free with Trafiko at the library! Connect to the library's WiFi to access videos, driving questions, e-books, and audiobooks. The theory is available in Swedish, English, Persian, and Arabic. All bookable computers in the libraries have access to ArkivDigital and the National Archives.
