Telefonplans bibliotek

Telefonplans library is centrally located by the Telefonplan subway station, in the premises of Midsommargården. Right next to the library is Konstfack. Even when the Midsommargården Foundation planned the building at Telefonplan, a library was part of the plan. The library was inaugurated on August 26, 1946, and was then called Midsommarkransens library. The building also housed a slaughterhouse, telegraph office, sick fund, and the pharmacy Orren. In 1968, the library moved into the old premises of the pharmacy. Here, space was also made for children's and youth books. With the move to the new premises, the library also changed its name to Telefonplans library. We are a cashless library. You can pay with card or Swish.
