We offer a safe and welcoming meeting place for guardians or other adults with children aged 0–5 years. Our focus is on respectful and warm interactions, where both children and adults should feel seen and acknowledged. Hägerstensåsen open preschool is part of Hägersten-Älvsjö's municipal open preschools. We provide an inclusive meeting place for parents on leave and other adults with children aged 0–5 years who are not yet enrolled in preschool. Here, you and your child have the opportunity to explore, experience, and interact with materials and activities tailored to the child's age and interests – completely free of charge. Our facilities are bright, spacious, and located on the ground floor with direct access to a private enclosed yard. The indoor environment is pedagogically designed with materials that stimulate play, exploration, and social interaction, adapted to the children's needs and developmental levels. In our facilities, there is a simple kitchen equipped with a microwave and kettle, where you can heat your own food. We also offer coffee and tea at cost price. For meals, there is access to: dining tables, high chairs, bibs, cutlery, and crockery.
