The Viking Museum
The Viking Museum is an experience museum where history, myth, and archaeology meet in a living and interactive environment. It offers a nuanced and historically accurate picture of the Viking Age, including stories of women, children, and men who lived on farms in Scandinavia, as well as daring seafarers. The interactive exhibition features archaeological finds, historically reconstructed environments, and in-depth stations. Guides in Viking costumes are available to answer questions and bring history to life. One of the most appreciated experiences is the dramatized ride Ragnfrids Saga, which takes visitors on a journey through 10th-century Europe, following Harald's journey of trade and plunder. The museum also has a restaurant, Eld, and a shop with historically themed products.
