Vasamuseet
The Vasa Museum is a maritime museum on Djurgården in Stockholm. The museum displays the only almost intact 17th-century ship ever salvaged, the royal ship Vasa. The ship sank on its maiden voyage in 1628 and was salvaged in 1961. The museum tells the story of the ship, its construction, sinking, and recovery, as well as life on board and the power during that time. The museum also offers exhibitions about James Cameron, the museum's garden, and has a restaurant and shop.
