Ulriksdals slott

Ulriksdal Palace is located in the Royal National City Park and was built in the 17th century. Highlights include rooms furnished in the 19th century for Karl XV and the Great Living Room furnished in 1923 for Gustaf VI Adolf. Several monarchs have left their mark on the palace – Fredrik I, Karl XIV Johan, Karl XV, and Gustaf VI Adolf, who last used the palace as a royal residence. Queen Christina also appreciated the palace so much that she had her coronation procession start from Ulriksdal Palace in 1650. Ulriksdal is a modern 17th-century palace, with highlights including the living room furnished by Carl Malmsten. The palace is surrounded by a large palace park. In the park, there are several sculptures, including Per Lundgren's sculpture group 'The Net-Drawing Moors'. The sculptures can be viewed at the footbridge over Igelbäcken, which flows through the palace park. Other attractions include the orangery in the palace park, which is now home to the National Museum's collection of Swedish sculpture.
