Beckomberga simhall
Beckomberga swimming hall is Stockholm's center for parasports. The swimming hall is well accessible for individuals with disabilities. The facility has a 25-meter pool (depth 1.4-1.9 meters, temperature 30 degrees), a therapy pool (height adjustable) with a water temperature of 32-34 degrees, and a hot tub with a water temperature of 35-36 degrees. There are adapted changing rooms, lifts in and out of the pools, flexible changing rooms, and a sauna. The gym is usually only open for individuals with disabilities, but at certain times, everyone is welcome. Our leaders are trained in health promotion and have experience working with individuals with disabilities. Exercise courses for individuals with disabilities are available at several of Stockholm's municipal swimming halls, including Beckomberga.
