Blackebergs bibliotek
Blackebergs library and Bromma citizen's office are centrally located next to the subway with a view of the square. You can turn to the citizen's office if you are lost in the jungle of authorities or need advice, information, and guidance on general societal issues. Here, community guides work who have good knowledge of the city, the district, society at large, and about associations for those who want to get involved. Bromma citizen's office does not follow the library's opening hours. You can pay with cash, card, or Swish with us. If you have your own computer, tablet, or mobile phone, you can connect to our WiFi/wireless network. The network is unencrypted and all activity is logged. If you study or work at a college or university with eduroam, you can log into the network from the library. If you have difficulty reading printed books or have trouble getting to the library, we can help you in various ways. We have aids and literature that are specially adapted for dyslexia or other reading difficulties. Our premises are also specially adapted for those with various disabilities. Service dogs are welcome in all our libraries (for example, guide dogs or assistance dogs). A hearing loop is available at the information desk. The book delivery service is a free service for those who are, for example, long-term sick or have a mobility impairment and cannot come to the library themselves. If you have difficulty reading printed text due to a disability, you get free access to Legimus. We have four computers that you can borrow. One of them is on the lower floor, and if you use it, we unfortunately cannot offer assistance. There is also a computer you can use to search the catalog. Our printer is located to the right at the entrance. There you can also copy and scan. You can print and copy in black and white and color, in A4 and A3. You print via a service called Princh, from the library's computers or from your own computer, tablet, or mobile phone. We have two restrooms. One restroom is located behind the citizen's office service area, and the other is on the lower floor. We have a changing table and an accessible restroom. Study spaces are available on the lower floor but are only accessible when we do not have activities there. Are you interested in exhibiting with us? We organize exhibitions in our windows. Come in and talk to us if you want a tour of the library. All our libraries subscribe to newspapers and magazines that you can read on-site in the library. You can also read digital newspapers, magazines, and articles in Pressreader, Artikelsök, and Retriever Media Archive. Study for your driver's license theory for free with Trafiko at the library! The library has equipment for genealogy research and literature on the subject. All bookable computers in the libraries have access to ArkivDigital and the National Archives.
