Blackebergs bibliotek
Blackeberg Library and Bromma Citizen's Office are centrally located next to the subway with a view of the square. You can turn to the citizen's office if you are lost in the jungle of authorities or need advice, information, and guidance on general societal issues. Here, community guides work who have good knowledge of the city, the district, society at large, and associations for those who want to get involved. The Bromma Citizen's Office does not follow the library's opening hours. You can pay with cash, card, or Swish with us. If you have your own computer, tablet, or mobile phone, you can connect to our WiFi/wireless network. The network is unencrypted, and all activity is logged. If you study or work at a college or university with eduroam, you can log into the network from the library. If you have difficulty reading printed books or have trouble getting to the library, we can assist you in various ways. We have aids and literature specifically adapted for dyslexia or other reading difficulties. Our facilities are also specially adapted for those with various disabilities. The book delivery service is a free service for those who are long-term ill or have mobility impairments and cannot come to the library themselves. If you have difficulty reading printed text due to a disability, you get free access to Legimus. We have four computers that you can borrow. One of them is on the lower floor, and if you use it, we unfortunately cannot offer assistance. There is also a computer you can use to search the catalog. Our printer is located to the right at the entrance. There you can also copy and scan. You can print and copy in black and white and color, in A4 and A3. We have two toilets. One toilet is located behind the citizen's office service point, and the other is on the lower floor. We have a changing table and an accessible toilet. Study places are available on the lower floor but are only accessible when we do not have activities there. Are you interested in exhibiting with us? We arrange exhibitions in our windows. All our libraries subscribe to newspapers and magazines that you can read on-site at the library. You can also read digital newspapers, magazines, and articles in Pressreader, Artikelsök, and Retriever Media Archive. Study driving theory for free with Trafiko at the library! The library has equipment for genealogy research and literature on the subject. All bookable computers in the libraries have access to ArkivDigital and the National Archives.
